Escort Intelligent MINI logger Post-Trip Validation
- The Post Trip Validation procedure applies only to Intelligent MINI loggers
that were on loads that involve a temperature-related claim.
- The post-trip validation procedure includes testing the instrument
at two set temperature points (32°F and 68°F/0°C and 20°C) and then
comparing the recorded readings of the logger to recorded readings of a
precision reference thermometer that is traceable to the National
Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
- After the test procedure is completed a Pass/Fail certificate is
issued for the logger.
- This service is free for any logger involved in a temperature-related claim.
Traceable-Temperature Verification
- Temperature verification is a fee-service provided to customers who request it for
Escort loggers temperature monitors with operating range of -40°F to
158°F (-40°C to 70°C). All readings are compared to recorded
readings of a precision reference thermometer traceable to NIST.
A Traceable-Temperature Verification certificate is issued.
- Custom Service (Customer Determines Set Points):
Price: $80 for 2 set points. Add an extra $10 for
each additional set point.
- Non-Standard Sensor Temperature Ranges:
Price: Pricing available upon request.
Humidity Calibration
- Standard Service (Instruments Validated at Two RH (Relative Humidity) Set Points (33% and 76%) and
Calibrated to Meet Reference Standards):
Price: $115 for 2 set points. Add an extra $10 for
each additional set point.
- Custom Service (Customer Determines RH Set Points
Between 25% and 80% RH):
Price: $115 for 2 set points. Add an extra $10 for
each additional set point.
Evaluation and Repairs
- Initial evaluation follows a set of procedures and functional tests
done on loggers to help determine problems and servicing needs.
Escort Data Loggers Inc. does not handle circuit board repairs at the
Buchanan VA facility. Loggers requiring circuit board repairs will be returned
to the manufacturing facility upon customer request and agreement to
continue the service contract.
- Evaluation Price: $60 per hour, with a
Minimum charge of $25 for 30 minutes.
